AMC x Coca-Cola Flavor Maker
The Challenge: How do we get Gen Z to take note of the deal AMC & Coca-Cola were offering them without looking out of touch?
The Solution: Modernize both the offer and how we speak to them through a fun campaign with them at the center, social media, and the technology they could get behind.
It all started with a great combo deal: Popcorn and a drink for just $5. Then we created an amazing world for the campaign. Quirky animations that felt youthful, energetic, a little bit off.
We partnered with the Freestyle Innovations group at Coca-Cola to create three Gen Z-inspired soda flavors available exclusively on machines at AMC Theatres.
We named the new recipes Mello-Drama, Lime Traveler, and Slasher Splasher and designed the interactive user interface screen with messaging encouraging teens to flex their Coca-Cola Flavor Making skills.
The landing page offered up snack hacks for those indecisive snackers, ways to share to their crew, plus an easy add to wallet feature for the combo deal itself.
We showed up on TikTok, SnapChat, and Instagram to spread the word about the Flavor Maker Combo with a mix of branded ads and influencer-created content.
